IPHI food systems initiatives evaluate and improve food security, access, and resources in the region.

The team focuses on systematic and sustainable changes to address health challenges (e.g., hunger, obesity, and areas that lack healthy food options) by advocating for policies that create a more equitable food system. The following initiatives highlight IPHI’s work with community leaders and government organizations to find permanent solutions to improve the food system.
